Principals' Message

I am excited to share my thoughts about the remarkable journey we continue to undertake together at Bangalore International High !!!

As an astounding academician and administrator with a proven record of over 15 years at various levels as a teacher, academic head, vice principal, witnessing phenomenal progress of the students, with increased exponential records of determination, received multiple accolades, and as a best academician from International Platform. My passion, addon experience from abroad had Pset my path in greater heights.

I believe in creating a joyful, positive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and connected-essentially. I am positive that in time to come we will continue this journey with the elevated enthusiasm and persistently provide a platform of holistic learning.

As the Principal, I take the privilege in transformative impact our school on students’ lives, and I would like to take a moment to reflect on the essence of what makes BIGI truly special. “Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations.” My commitment is to cultivate an evolving environment where the school community collectively nurtures and supports every student, academically, emotionally, socially to be strong.

Curriculum

ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) curriculum framework emphasizes a balanced, detailed, and practical approach to education, focusing on developing analytical skills, English proficiency, and offering flexibility in subject choices through three main subjects.

The CICSE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) is established in 1958. The curriculum progresses from primary to high school levels, building fundamental concepts in a structured way to prepare students for board exams under the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).

In the Primary department, the subjects offered are English (Literature & Language), 2nd language, Environmental Science, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics.

Value Education, General Knowledge, Arts & Craft and Physical Education are also integral parts of the curriculum

In the Middle school, the subjects offered are English (Literature & Language), 2nd language & Mathematics. Science is trifurcated into Biology, Chemistry & Physics. Social Studies is bifurcated to Geography and History & Civics. Value Education, General Knowledge, Arts & Craft and Physical Education continue to be integral parts of the curriculum.

In the High School, students are offered the option of Stream selection. Based on their interests, abilities and future plans students can select an ICSE school that offers the best choices for them.

At this level English, 2nd language, Geography and History Civics are compulsory subjects. The remaining subjects offered typically identify the stream.

Comprehensive and Balanced Education: ICSE provides a well-rounded education, giving equal importance to languages, sciences, mathematics, humanities, and arts. This approach ensures students excel academically while nurturing their creative and analytical abilities.

Strong Emphasis on English Language: ICSE prioritize English language skills, laying a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and communication. This proficiency opens doors to various academic and professional opportunities worldwide.

Global Recognition: The ICSE curriculum of BIGI recognized globally, making it easier for students to pursue higher education abroad or in international institutions. It’s on par with international education standards, giving ICSE students an edge in global academic environments.

Practical and Experiential Learning: We, in BIGI emphasize hands-on learning through laboratory experiments, field trips, and project-based assignments. This approach helps students apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations, fostering innovation and problem-solving skills.

Holistic Development: We focus on the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social aspects of a child’s growth. Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities, sports, and community service, enhancing their communication skills, teamwork, leadership qualities, and overall personality development.

Prepares Students for Competitive Exams: Our ICSE curriculum prepares students for national and international competitive exams like JEE, NEET, CLAT, SAT, and TOEFL. The emphasis on analytical and linguistic skills gives ICSE students an edge in these exams.

Develops Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: in BIGI we promote application-based learning, encouraging students to analyze concepts, solve problems, and apply their understanding to real-life situations. This approach fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

My daughter, Samantha L. Raj, is currently studying in Class V-A at BIH. Words cannot describe how thankful we are to have Samantha as part of the BIH family. She is truly enjoying the opportunities to perform and express her abilities. The teachers’ dedication and the school’s focus on encouraging participation are clearly making a positive impact on her learning experience.

It is a special feeling to see our child not only learning, but also loving the process and gaining confidence.

My son Praneel (Grade 5 A) has been studying at Bangalore International High (ICSE syllabus) since Nursery, and it has been a truly wonderful journey. The warm ambience of the school first drew us to enrol him, and over the years we have been very happy with the teaching, extracurricular activities, and curriculum-based competitions.

One thing I really appreciate is that my son has always been able to understand the concepts taught in school. He hardly ever comes home saying he didn’t understand something in class, which shows the clarity and effectiveness of the teachers’ methods. He is also genuinely happy to go to school every single day—so much so that he doesn’t want to miss even one day!

I also love the concept of exhibitions on PTM days, where parents can see their child’s skills on display. It reflects the teachers’ dedication in bringing out the best in each child and fills both kids and parents with joy. Another aspect I value is the dedicated activity period every day, which gives a healthy.

My son, Rohan Harish, is currently studying in Class IX-B at BIH. We are delighted to take this opportunity to congratulate the entire team at Bangalore international High – ICSE school for their tireless efforts and dedication.

The overall atmosphere of the school is truly commendable. With the constant support and guidance of the teachers, students has been able to excel not only in academics but also in various extracurricular activities. The teachers are approachable, cooperative, and always available to clarify any doubts or provide assistance.

The school actively organizes and participates in a wide range of inter-school activities and competitions, offering students an excellent platform to showcase their talents and grow in confidence. One area that could be slightly enhanced is sports coaching, encouraging children to participate more in physical activities.

I sincerely thank the entire teaching fraternity of Bangalore International High – ICSE for their unwavering support and guidance, which has helped students progress in every aspect throughout the academic year.

As a parent, I am thrilled to see my son Ayush.C.Gupta studying in Grade 5 D,grow and learn at Bangalore International High. The school’s dedication to fostering curiosity, creativity and academic excellence is truly commendable. I am grateful for the passionate teacher who guides students to become confident, empathetic and lifelong learners. My son’s experience has been enriching and I have seen him develop a love for learning, explore new interests and build meaningful friendships.
